R progmetal - Nu-Metal in all technicalities is basically like a form of Grunge, Alternative Rock, Punk, Hip Hop influenced Metal, doesn't always have to involve rapping, it can involve hip hop influenced vocals, clean vocals, or an occasional scream, if you take away the hip hop aspect, Nu-Metal is basically Alternative Rock mixed with Groove Metal.
